(E)co-work

Place: AEON
Date: November 12
Hour: 17:30

During the workshop we will talk about world pollution issues, waste and trash recycling problems. How can people satisfy their necessities by leading an eco-friendly life?  Is it possible to reduce the pollution with recycling and reusing second-hand tools?  Can someone as an individual change his/her own environment?

The workshop is organised in frames of the SunChild 6th International Environmental Festival with the partnership of “Hartak” initiative.

The workshop will lead  a member of a movement Guerrilla Gardening Tbilisi Elene Malashevski-Jakeli.

It’s been a long time since we’ve forgotten how to live in harmony with the nature. We live our lives only thinking about our necessities and desires not considering the nature, forgetting that by harming the environment we live in, we harm ourselves as well.

We are going to create an image of a tree on canvas using plastic bottles and watercress seeds. It will be a trash-art installation and seeding at the same time. We will try to visualise cohabitation of artificial with a natural.

The entrance is free.

The working language is Russian,
(will be English and Armenian whispering translation if it needed).

The SunChild 6th International Environmental Festival will take place from 11th to 14th of November in Yerevan.

The grand opening ceremony will take place on November 11, 17:00, in “Moscow” cinema, Blue Hall.
