SYNOPSIS

Are we addicted to meat? Like many others, director Marijn Frank discovers a dilemma between her desire for meat and her aspiration to be a better and wiser human being. She knows that there is plenty wrong with the meat industry, but her body craves a meaty snack regardless. In this documentary, she explores the arguments and seeks to arrive at a final, appropriate choice. She visits, among others, a therapist, a butcher, vegetarians, an addictions’ expert and a chef with a love of meat. Will she manage to cure her addiction or will she accept being a carnivore?
