Synopsis
Nagaland has long been known for its pristine rainforests spread over mountains protected and inhabited by various tribes.Khonoma is a small village in the rainforest of Nagaland where the tribal hunters of Angamis have been doing hunting for livelihood.Hunting with guns threatened the existence of birds and animals including a rare bird that is found here called “Blyth’s Tragopan”. Lead by the vision of a man, Tsilie Sakhrie, the village banned hunting. Metha, along with other tribal hunters in a Khonoma, in Nagaland, gives up hunting so as to save the forest and an endangered bird “Blyth’s Tragopan”. The film is a story of Khonoma through Metha who is practicing agriculture but unaware of the effects of Development that is causing a threat to the existence of Tragopan and many other birds and animals.
